  Have been there twice. Each time having the same waitress. However, we got the impression she thought she was a fantastic waitress, but she was not great. Didn't listen, didn't explain when asked, was cold, brief and on occasion seemed disrespectful. Witnessed what appeared to be a heated conversation between her and another waitress. Appeared as though she was talking down to the other waitress in front of us and other customers. Found the food consistant but not great.

  We used to love coming here. It had been at around a year or two since we'd last been, so we decided to go for my birthday with family a couple of Thursdays ago. There were mixed reactions to the quality of food for the price. However the thing that was most disappointing was the lack of service. We were seated in a quiet corner which was fabulous, however after our waitress had appeared to have gone home, we were completely forgotten about. Drink orders were forgotten, and we even had to get up and find a waiter to get us some dessert menus, and again to take the orders. They weren't very busy at all, so it was surprising. Definitely not the Ambrosia we remembered, which is a shame. There are a lot of better dining options in Berwick now.
